future present

Blue's 1977 album Out of the Blue, re-mastered on the new Unseen Worlds label, is getting rave reviews - "A moving masterpiece ..." (NY Times, March 25), "My favorite avant-garde pop album ..." (The Wire, April)

Blue recently provided liner notes for the New World records issues of albums by Peter Zummo, and the double CD re-issue of early works by John Cage and Morton Feldman originally on legendery Columbia releases.

Blue has completed computer scores for Christian Wolff's "37 Haiku" premiered on April 12 in NYC, and the rediscovered score for John Cage's "Music for Elfrid Ide" for percussion ensemble to be published by C.F. Peters

Blue's "The Invention of Memory" for voice, strings, guitar and piano, and the mysterious "Somewhere (Scenes 1 - 3)" for voice, electronic and environmental sounds are currently being readied for release on Lovely Music.

Blue will be performing in Robert Ashley's "Celestial Excursions" at the Holland Festival in Amsterdam during the first week of June
