An evening of new works, presented by baritone Thomas Buckner, with premiere of “Blue” Gene Tyranny's, “Solving Scriabin’s Chord (Love, Consider, Imagine)” , for voice and piano. Also on the program is “The Drifter”, a solo piano work by Mr. Tyranny performed by Joseph Kubera, and works by Bun Ching Lam, Kyle Hovatter, and Wadada Leo Smith

NYC premiere of the same concert at Roulette, 509 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY

April 12th & 13th premiere of the theatre piece, "Recollections: Songs from Aphasia" (for four voices, string quintet, videotape, etc), with music by BGT and text by Mary Griffin at Roulette, 509 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY.

BGT will appear with Fast Forward on percussion and Samita Sinha on vocals at the Stone (Ave C and 2nd Street) in NYC on June 30th at 8pm.

BGT recently performed at the Talking Band's 40th Anniversary Gala at the Ukrainian National Home in NYC on April 27th.

BGT's The Drifter is now available on Joe Kubera's CD The Book of Horizons, New World Records 80745-2

The album "Trust in Rock" will be issued early next year on Unseen Worlds Records. This is a legendary show that was performed with a large "art rock" band in Berkeley, CA in the late 1970s. It will be a double-disc with song cycles by Peter Gordon and Blue Gene Tyranny.

BGT is currently working on a extended song for baritone Thomas Buckner and pianist Joe Kubera that will be premiered early in 2014.
